Nationwide Van Lines

Many thanks to Vaughn, Harley and Rick- What a fantastic team! I’ve moved so many times before, and this is my third cross country move, which can get really stressful if disorganized. These three gentlemen were kind, patient, direct and fast! I am so grateful. Rick, on point with communication and lovely demeanor. Harley, Vaughn- you both are angels on earth. Hopefully the team in the receiving city is as quick, smart and organized as you both. Thank you so so much.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3333

Sad times for us as we closed out parents estate. But, Ouzie’s team from Nationwide made it so much easier. Courteous, respectful, careful and great attention to details. Most of the pieces were antiques. It was an out of state move. They worked with our scheduling and traveling between states. They offered helpful suggestions. They never assumed; they always asked first. Five STARS, 100%+ job performance. Highly recommend and will use them again if need ever arises.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $1800

Pierre and Dontae arrived at our Florida condo on time and did an awesome job of wrapping and taping our furniture and fixtures, loading boxes and securing items with bubble wrap, taping them securely, then, loading everything onto the truck. Custom boxes for TV's and mirrors were made, and every item was tagged with a number for tracking purposes. They worked almost non-stop for hours, taking only a short break outside. They left the condo neat and clean from all of the packing work they did.
Pierre and Lonzo delivered our furniture and fixtures to our home in Pennsylvania on schedule. We were amazed that nothing was broken or damaged and at how hard they worked to unwrap everything and cleanup when they were done.
We also appreciate the help of Alana and her help with the online shipping order and payment processes which were very efficient and well managed. And we appreciate the work of the Dispatch Team in notifying us about the arrival and delivery and schedule during this period.
They all did a 5-STAR ** job and we really appreciate their attention to detail and care that they showed for everything.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2490

Cannot say enough good things about Nationwide. From the men who packed us up and moved us to North Carolina to the prompt and thoughtful follow up this company did a great job. Clear explanations of terms, conditions and most importantly insurance to cover the move. Dedicated men who took great care wrapping items to make sure they were not damaged. They delivered all our items within five days of the pick up. If I ever move again they will be the go to choice. Our driver Pierre and his assistants Bentley, Hicks and Johnny were friendly and professional and always were concerned about our needs and making sure we were happy and comfortable. Thank you so much for everything you did to take us from Plantation, FL to Cherokee, NC.

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: $6500

I obtained multiple quotes for this move from PA to CT.  While not the cheapest, I selected Nationwide Van Lines based upon the apparent professionalism of the front office staff.  From this point forward, the move fell apart. Nationwide does not send a representative to inventory the goods to be moved but rather generates the inventory based on the customer's input.  In our case, we ended up paying an extra charge for additional volume beyond that quoted in the "binding agreement". We also purchased the Platinum full-pack option. On the scheduled pick-up day (Friday), we were provided a window of 4 hours For the crew to arrive.  The driver and crew arrived late and with insufficient materials to do the job.  They had to go out and purchase boxes from Home Depot and did not have enough blankets to cover our furniture.  The crew "improvised" and the job took 8 hours (for a 1 bedroom apartment), and this was only because I helped to move items from the apartment to the truck. The driver "promised" delivery on Monday but was re-directed by Dispatch.  Delivery was then re-scheduled  for Tuesday.  Driver and crew arrived 1-hour early and with an attitude!  I had to walk on eggshells during the delivery process or risk aggravating the driver further. The only reason I give Nationwide Van Lines 1 star is that the goods were delivered with minimal damage. Caveat emptor!

I am a broke college student. I helped a friend store her items in my condo for over six months, as well as booked her move for her with this unfortunate excuse for a moving company. I was quoted $1000 for ONE BEDROOM's worth of belongings. This included a full mattress, a chair, a leaning wall desk, some boxes-- whatever you might find in ONE BEDROOM. Anyway, they were two weeks late with the delivery to Georgia. When the driver of the truck, who goes by the name "Uzi," got to Georgia, he decided to double the price of the move and did not consult anyone involved. They are now refusing to provide us with an itemized statement from what they cultivated on the date of pick-up, and are holding my friend's items hostage, as well as threatening to sell her things at auction. I have been dealing with this company for weeks now as they continue to raise their price (after doubling it), deny the itemized statement, and hold the items hostage. My friend is also a broke college student who now needs to find an additional $1100, as well as the $1000 I have paid during the course of this fiasco already!! ONE BEDROOM for $2100, originally QUOTED $1000. Avoid this laughable excuse for a company, and Manuel A. Torres in particular. Go with Mayflower!!
